Fishponds expand to new villages and have big impact on the level of nutrition and food security in the area.
A total of 30 fishponds now fully operational - Families have improved their intake of animal protein and increased their income
by selling fish. Extra income is used to pay school fees of their children or to have access to better health care.
Fishpond project so successful that the regional government is broadcasting it as an example of sustainable development.

Masasi Program develop a maize seed farm.
The program has now developed a maize seed farm, which is producing improved maize seed that is given to farmers in the region.
Farmers contribute with labour and as compensation they receive improved seed.
